A Nice Place To Vist ~ A Great Place To Live

The West Chippewa River Vista, a "private sub-division" developed in the early 60's along the banks of the beautiful Chippewa River. Located in Fork Township, near the village of Barryton, Michigan.

Mr. Henry Phillips could not have found a prettier spot for a development.

Consisting of 114 lots and 98 homes and cabins the "Vista" has it all. The Chippewa River, known to be one of the finest canoeing Rivers in central Michigan, is also great for tubing and fishing. So clear is the water that you can see a penny on the bottom.

Every lot here has River Frontage. Wild Ducks, Geese, Deer and Turkey are all common place and one might find them in their front yards at any time. A pleasant contrast to city life.

Within 10 minutes driving time is the Martiny Lakes Flooding Project that has created Upper & Lower Evans Lake, Lost Lake, Manaka Lake, Diamond Lake, Tubbs Lake and Saddlebag Lake to name a few. All are connected by channels with 200 miles of shoreline. All for our fishing and Boating pleasure.
